The story of BRIGHT began with six ambitious first-year students at the University of Twente. Tasked with developing a smart game for a project, the team aspired to create something truly impactful. This aspiration led to the birth of BRIGHTBox, a hands-on game specifically designed for the visually impaired. During user evaluations of this project, the team received overwhelming positive feedback. This feedback illuminated an opportunity that went beyond just a fun and playable game – it highlighted the potential to develop essential soft skills. Thus, BRIGHT was born.

Embracing the spirit of social entrepreneurship, BRIGHT now offers comprehensive assessments of soft skills within corporate environments, in collaboration with centers for the blind. Staying true to our vision of inclusivity, we have created a product-service system that fosters a more interconnected society.
